Losing weight is one of the most difficult things to do. I know because I've been battling weight all my life. Overeating has been defined as a core level addiction that is seeded deeply in the sub-conscious where habits and reasons for overeating reside. Whether it's emotional, stress related, or something else that causes a dependency on food, this addiction is real. I've always resented it when someone who is of normal weight says "use your willpower to quit eating" or "it's easy, just stop."
